# Getting started

heliaEstimator (`helx`) runs a single configured experiment and writes a result bundle you can inspect or compare.

The documentation is public. **Access to the tool is by request through your Ambiq contact.** The installation steps assume you have received repository access and the applicable evaluation terms.

2. [Run a first experiment](https://ambiqai.github.io/helia-estimator/getting-started/first-run/) using the supplied Vela-only example.
3. [Read the result bundle](https://ambiqai.github.io/helia-estimator/getting-started/results/) before moving on to simulation.

Vela-only compilation does not require an FVP. A full simulation requires Arm's FVP and acceptance of its licence through `helx setup`.
