# Callouts

Callouts belong in documentation when context must stay visible beside the
content it qualifies. Use feedback components for application state and
snackbars for transient confirmation.

## Core guidance

Profiling results vary with board revision, clock configuration, and model
input shape.

Start with heliaRT when an application already follows the LiteRT runtime
model.

The sensor is ready to record. Use this where a step has finished, and keep
`tip` for a suggestion the reader has not acted on yet.

Generated model sources and the runtime library must use the same tensor
arena configuration.

Regenerate the deployment bundle after changing the target device or model
input shape.

The generation command overwrites files in the configured output directory.

## Lifecycle and compatibility

This kernel path requires an Apollo510 target and is not available on
Apollo4 Plus.

This interface may change between preview releases. Pin the package version
before using it in a shared workflow.

Replace `legacy_resolver()` with `create_resolver()` before support ends in
October 2026.

## Markdown form

The plugin renders Starlight's aside directives as callouts, in `.md` and
`.mdx` alike, so a page written in plain Markdown needs no import. The four
directive names map onto four tones, a directive label becomes the title, and
a directive without one keeps Starlight's default title.

```md
:::note
Directive asides carry the package surface without an import.
:::
:::tip[Pick the directive]
Reach for the component only when the tone has no directive name.
:::
```

:::note
Directive asides carry the package surface without an import.
:::

:::tip[Pick the directive]
Reach for the component only when the tone has no directive name.
:::

:::caution
A directive aside is prose, so a long one reads better as a section.
:::

:::danger[Read before running]
A destructive step earns the strongest tone the directive set offers.
:::

`caution` is the `warning` tone and `danger` is `critical`; the other six tones
have no directive of their own and stay with the component. Set
`markdownCallouts: false` on the plugin to leave Starlight's own asides in
place. The Markdown renditions and `llms.txt` the plugin writes carry the
directive as authored, because they are built from the source rather than from
the rendered page.

## Usage

- Keep the title specific enough to scan without reading the body.
- Reserve critical treatment for destructive or blocking consequences.
- Pair compatibility, experimental, and deprecation notices with exact scope.
- Do not stack multiple callouts when ordinary prose or a checklist is clearer.
