# nsx add

`nsx add` is an alias for [`nsx module add`](https://ambiqai.github.io/neuralspotx/reference/cli/module-add/). It parses the same arguments and runs the same handler.

## Usage

```text
nsx add [-h] [--app-dir APP_DIR] [--local] [--vendored] [--path DIR]
               [--board BOARD] [--dry-run]
               module
```

## Arguments

| --local | flag | optional | Mark the module as local (mirrored from external path; ignored by git) |
| --vendored | flag | optional | Scaffold a vendored module under modules/<name>/ (committed in this app's git; never touched by `nsx sync`) |
| --path DIR | value | optional | Use an external linked checkout at DIR (source: { path: DIR }) |
| --board BOARD | repeatable | optional | Scope the dependency to BOARD (repeatable; subset of supported targets) |
| --dry-run | flag | optional | Show changes without writing |
