## Modifications and additions

Modifications to upstream files and all newly added files in this fork are
Copyright (c) 2024-2026 Ambiq Micro, Inc. Per-file copyright and license is
declared via SPDX headers (`SPDX-FileCopyrightText:` and
`SPDX-License-Identifier:`) at the top of each source file.

## Licensing summary

Two licenses apply across this repository.

- Files originating from upstream Arm CMSIS-NN remain under the Apache License,
  Version 2.0. They carry both the original Arm copyright notice and an
  additional Ambiq copyright notice for the modifications. SPDX identifier:
  `Apache-2.0`.
- New files authored by Ambiq for this fork are distributed under the Ambiq
  Apollo SDK License, which restricts use to software running on
  Ambiq-manufactured CPUs. See `LICENSE` in the repository root. SPDX
  identifier: `LicenseRef-Ambiq-Apollo-SDK`.

When this repository is distributed as a whole, the Ambiq Apollo SDK License
applies to the combined work; the Apache-2.0 license continues to apply to the
upstream-derived files individually as required by Apache-2.0 section 4(b).
