Data types by family
This supporting inventory counts 426 unique function names
from arm_nnfunctions.h, arm_nnfunctions_flt.h, extracted by the same Doxygen
pipeline as the API reference. Counts include wrappers and scratch-buffer queries,
not just compute kernels. Internal headers and the separate support-function
headers are outside this table’s scope.
A function is assigned to the first matching API family. Each numeric tag in its
name contributes to its corresponding column, so a mixed-type function can appear
in more than one column. The Functions column counts the name once. Numeric
tags do not describe every argument’s type; check the signature for weights, bias,
indices, and output. Column totals therefore must not be added together. The fp16 spelling is
counted under f16.

How to read it
Section titled “How to read it”- Nonzero count: at least one function has this numeric tag. It does not establish support for every operation, shape, or accelerated path in the family.
- Dash: no declaration in this inventory has that tag. Consult the API signature before drawing conclusions about argument types.
- FP16 and FP32: declarations are extracted with float APIs enabled. Your compiler only sees the declarations allowed by your feature definitions, and your library must contain matching implementations.
q7andq15: inherited fixed-point APIs, with conventions defined by each function. They are distinct from the affine quantization of thes8APIs.
See Data types for format selection and Build options for source and feature selection. This inventory describes this documentation build; it does not inspect the contents of a separately installed prebuilt library.
