Docs sites
templates/product-docs/ is a minimal Starlight site already wired to the
package. Copy it into a product repository as docs/, change the placeholders,
and delete its README.
It wires up the heliaStarlight() plugin — the package stylesheets in the right
order, plus the shared footer, theme menu and mobile menu — Tailwind v4 through
a site-owned entry that holds the scan list, KaTeX through remark-math and
rehype-katex, and @astrojs/react for the pages that need an island. Nothing
hydrates until one does.
Four placeholders: the package name, the site and base in
astro.config.mjs, --helia-product-accent in src/styles/site.css, and all
of src/content/docs/**. The sample pages are shape, not copy.
base is the repository name with a leading slash, and every link in the
content is written relative so it follows base without repeating it. A
root-relative link (/install/) will 404 in production; a relative one
(install/) will not.
This template is repo-only: it is not listed in the package’s files, so it is
not in the published tarball. Copy it out of AmbiqAI/helia-ui. Its own README
carries the full instructions.
Building something that streams from hardware rather than something that documents it? Use the web app template instead.
